Katja Hoff

I have made Lanzarote my adopted home. The island's rugged beauty and unique volcanic landscape are an inexhaustible source of inspiration for me. Here, I deepened my passion for working with clay. Ceramics, with its diverse techniques, has become a fulfilling form of artistic expression for me. I work as a ceramicist and instructor with a practical, interdisciplinary background. Starting with graphic design, freelance design, and prop making for theater and television productions, my focus developed into ceramics and teaching the craft. Experiences from artistic projects and leading art classes for children and teenagers shape my current work: an open, experimental approach that combines fundamental craftsmanship with creative freedom.
