Ceramics Retreat on Lanzarote
Discover structures – develop forms – experience clay

This 4-day workshop is designed for people who want to refine their perception and creatively interpret natural structures in ceramics. The focus is on mindful observation, collecting impressions and translating them into artistic expression. Together we explore selected locations on Lanzarote and study the surfaces, textures, lines and forms of the landscape.
These impressions are captured through photographs, sketches, rubbings and drawing studies, then translated into three-dimensional clay works in the studio. Whether tiles, bowls, small sculptures or abstract objects – your creativity knows no limits.
I respond individually to your ideas, prior experience and wishes. The deliberately small group size of a maximum of four participants creates a calm, inspiring working atmosphere with plenty of room for personal support and creative expression.
Material and firing costs are included in the course fee. The finished, fired piece can be collected after one week. When planning your attendance, please allow for this collection time.
The workshop spans 4 days and combines: shared working phases in the studio, a guided day excursion to selected locations, and reflection and exchange in the group.
Legal notice: The excursion does not include transportation; this can be arranged locally. Meals are not part of a catering service.
